Outdoor Multipurpose Safety Cabinets

This thermally insulated premium quality storage cabinet is ideal for the outside safe storage of a mixture of small containers and 200 litre drums containing polluting or flammable substances.

The cabinet is fitted with insulation. The insulation consists of 50mm non combustible mineral wool which is fitted between the galvanized panels.

As well as protecting against thermal shocks, in cold weather insulated containers can help maintain a minimum temperature inside the cabinet, reduce condensation and thus reduce the viscosity of stored substances. In hot weather they can help prevent dangerous heat build up.

Constructed of strong fully galvanized steel and with an area about 6 m2 this is a safety cabinet for drums and small containers with a 1000 litre collection tank.

Both the interior and exterior of the galvanized cabinets are painted with epoxy primer and overpainted in white RAL 9016.

Note that the container pictured features the cabinet fitted with shelving for storing small containers. This is sold seperately.

Key features of the cabinet include:

  • High load capacity collection sump with removable galvanized grids - 1000 litres
  • Optional galvanized shelves give flexible storage options
  • Double doors with lock and key
  • Can be transported by crane or forklift of sufficient capacity with forklift extensions
  • The collection tank conforms to the highest level of certification and is supplied with a warning panel and identification plate fitted to the sump.
  • Supplied assembled

Contact us regarding the many optional accessories that can be added to this container. To provide a regulated temperature we can fit an armoured three phase electric heater to the container.

We can fit shelves on the long or short sides for storing small containers. We can fit internal electric lights to provide illumination with external switch. For safety we can fit an external fire extinguisher housing.

For easy access on to the container we can supply a sturdy galvanized steel ramp 1000x960x280mm.

We can fit optional air inlet ventilation grills for storing flammable substances with the flow area being equivalent to one thirtieth of the layout surface. These help prevent dangerous accumulations of flammable vapours within the cabinet.

Each containment spill pallet is subjected to non-destructive testing to ensure the basin is watertight in case of spills in accordance with UNI ISO 3834-3: 2006. This process is applied according to the following standards.
