Outdoor Sump Storage Unit For 16 Drums

This range of containers with spill collection tanks is designed to optimally store 200 litre drums when standing upon pallets thus ensuring easy loading and unloading while taking up the minimum amount of space.

Constructed of strong galvanized corrugated steel The containers have top quality certified spill sumps with removable galvanized grids.

These Sump Cabinets are available in two variations:
- Hinged swinging doors and sump sat on 6 legs
- Sliding doors and sump sat on Skid bearers

Key features of the outside drum storage cabinets include:

  • Outer covering in galvanized and corrugated sheet metal
  • High load capacity collection sump with removable swappable grids - 1100 litres
  • Two tiers of storage with galvanized grids on the shelves
  • Door with lock and key
  • Ground clearance 100 mm with punched base plates for anchoring to the ground (models MCOF16Z and MCOF16ZB only).
  • Available in a galvanized finish or enhanced galvanized and over painted in blue
  • Supplied assembled ready to go

We can supply optional air inlet ventilation grills for storing flammable substances. These help prevent dangerous accumulations of flammable vapours within the cabinet.

We can also supply an optional insulating roof with 50 mm thick mineral wool between galvanized metal sheets.

Maximum capacity 16 drums directly on grid or when stood upon 1200 x 1200 mm pallets. 12 drums when stood upon 800 x 1200 mm pallets.

Each containment spill pallet is subjected to non-destructive testing to ensure the basin is watertight in case of spills in accordance with UNI ISO 3834-3: 2006. This process is applied according to the following standards.
