30 Minute Fire Rated Under-Bench Cabinet Features This under-bench cabinet is made from melamine, this material has very good overall chemical compatibility. The exterior is then finished with a layer of PVC protection film RAL7035, with RAL1023 yellow edges, the cabinet also comes with safety labelling. The cabinet comes with a steel containment sump which sits under the products, the sump is fitted with a perforated steel cover. The cabinet has a self closing door, this door can be kept open however it's fitted with a fusible link which breaks at 47ºC allowing the door to automatically close, helping contain whatever is causing the rise in temperature (chemical reaction, fire etc). The cabinet comes with a built in ventilation system, these include air ducts 100mmØ, these outlets/inlets provide a natural airflow, these can also be integrated into a forced ventilation system. In the event of a fire the ducts have thermos-fuse seals making them automatically close in the event. Likewise the door is protected by thermo-expanding seals and is fitted with a non-sparking lockable 3 point latching mechanism.
