The sump decks, part of our budget range, are excellent value for money and can be joined together to create larger low profile handling areas. The durable sump decking has a thick side border and central load-bearing structure which is very strong and which can easily carry fully loaded oil drums, chemical barrels and other storage containers and equipment. The decking comes in an eye catching orange color. Constructed from durable high density polyethylene (HDPE) and manufactured using an injection moulding process these sump decks have excellent chemical resistance and feature removable black HDPE grating. Ideal for storing various acids, alkaline solutions, oils and non inflammable chemical substances. Please note- PE, polythene and polyethylene are the same thing. The removable supporting grating is constructed from high density polyethylene and allows for easy cleaning. The spill deck bases are designed with slots at the bottom for easy handling by forklift truck or hand pallet truck. These low profile, easy access, sump decks can be joined together to create large drum handling surfaces. The sump decks are compliant with EPA, OSHA, SPCC and NFPA standards, tested and guaranteed leak free and in accordance with UK legislation.
